Call for Submissions: Special Section for Non-Professional Scholars
The Asian Journal of African Studies (AJAS) is pleased to announce a special call for
submissions from non-professional scholars. We invite public officers, entrepreneurs, students, and other individuals to submit columns, op-eds, or theoretical papers offering fresh perspectives on recent key issues related to African studies.
This special section is part of our effort to broaden the reach of AJAS and include diverse voices that enrich the discourse on African studies. Selected submissions will be featured in a dedicated section, with additional pages allocated to these contributions alongside our regular peer-reviewed articles.

Asian Journal of African Studies (AJAS)
김은경 교수는 9월 5-8일 미국 필라델피아에서 개최된 제120회 미국정치학회 연례학술대회(American Political Science Association Annual Meeting)에 참가하였다. 국가역량에 관한 패널에서 논문 “State capacity and responses to forced displacement in developing countries”를 발표했다. 고텐버그대학교의 Marina Nistotskaya가 좌장을 맡았으며 오슬로대학교의 Carl Henrik Knutsen과 미시건대학교의 Jonathan Hanson이 토론을 맡는 등 세계 저명학자들과 학술교류를 할 수 있는 기회를 가졌다.
